Priority setting exercise in faecal incontinence: get involved

In collaboration with researchers at Newcastle University, we are currently running a priority setting project to help identify areas for future Cochrane Incontinence research on the topic of faecal incontinence.

As part of the exercise, we are inviting people with experience of faecal incontinence (patients or carers), health care professionals, and health care policy makers to share their ideas for future priority research in the area. The first step is a survey that anyone can contribute to. The survey closes on 31 August 2020 and we would love to hear your thoughts!

We are also looking for participants to express their interest in being a part of two online workshops, due to take place in September and October 2020. These workshops will bring together a variety of people with experience of the condition to further refine which topics surrounding faecal incontinence should be prioritised, guided by skilled facilitators.
