New update: Pelvic floor muscle training versus no treatment, or inactive control treatments, for urinary incontinence in women

A new updated review from Cochrane Incontinence has been published!

'Pelvic floor muscle training versus no treatment, or inactive control treatments, for urinary incontinence in women' has been updated by Chantale Dumoulin, Licia Cacciari and Jean Hay-Smith. The review now contains 10 new trials with a total of 1817 women from 14 countries. 

The update assesses the effectiveness of pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) compared to no treatment, sham or placebo for treating all types of urinary incontience in women. A brief economic commentary has also been added to this review update.
