World Continence Week 2018

This week (18th-24th June) is World Continence Week, a global initiative run by the World Federation of Incontinence Patients (WFIP), with the approval of the International Continence Society (ICS) that aims to help improve health, wellness and quality of life for those with continence issues, and to further establish awareness of bladder weakness, pelvic pain and other conditions that impact on the lives of patients and carers.

Throughout the week, Cochrane Incontinence will be sharing evidence from the past 12 months on social media, including new and updated reviews. We'll also be revisiting blog posts from Evidently Cochrane that use Cochrane Incontinence evidence, and looking at how brief economic commentaries (BECs) were embedded into eight of our reviews focusing on surgical approaches to stress urinary incontinence in women.

You can follow all of the week's activities by liking us on Facebook or following us on Twitter.

All of the evidence - including blogshots, vlogshots and links - can also be found on the World Continence Week page on Cochrane.org.
